Performance Management
We will support you in dealing with the full range of employee performance concerns and opportunities for development, from providing one-to-one Coaching and Mentoring services (or helping you implement a mentoring program across your top performers and rising talent) to supporting you through Performance Improvement plans, and/or disciplinary procedures.
We can provide informal advice or formal training to your people managers in how to nip performance concerns in the bud. If, as can happen as organisations grow and develop, you have the wrong people in the wrong roles we can help you either develop them into the right role or manage them out of the business.
Poor performance needs to be managed in a structured and systematic way to ensure it is fair, effective and ticks the boxes to successfully defend a tribunal claim should the performance not improve sufficiently for the employee to be retained in the business.
Performance management can be a time consuming and frustrating process, particularly if the employee doesn’t readily engage with you and recognise/commit to addressing the concerns you have.

We are on hand to provide an unbiased and dispassionate view of the issues, and your options to move forwards. We can provide procedural advice and guide your line managers to implement a performance improvement plan and/or disciplinary process, or you can hand the entire issue over to us to investigate and work through on your behalf.
We can help you devise SMART objectives to raise and help measure performance and provide guidance or scripts for difficult conversations.
We can provide support remotely, onsite or a mixture of the two, depending on your needs and preferences.
